Giclée printing on Acid-free fine art paper

Description

Every crack, every worn surface, and every weathered texture bears witness to human existence.

Through close-up photography, Koyama Toshitaka transforms the textures of walls, leather, and everyday objects into painterly abstract compositions, preserving traces of time, memory, and lived experience.

Inspired by existentialist philosophy, he believes that the meaning of life resides in the traces we leave behind in each passing moment.

Each work is part of his Post-Contemporary Expressionism series—a visual code of memory and a quiet reflection on what it means to exist.
